From Mina To Mecca After Jamarat (1)

The things people did not practice during hajj: to keep everything and everywhere clean.

It was already around 09.00 in the morning when I was back to Mina, because we cleaned up Muzdalifah. FYI, Only our group cleaned up Muzdalifah. Other groups just left their garbages wherever they were able to leave the garbage. It was so sad because actually cleanliness is one of the most importance teachings in Islam but wherever during Hajj pilgrimage, it was so difficult to find cleanliness.
Many were in Mina at that time. It was soooo dirty in Mina because many people never care of the cleanliness taught in Islam. "We must be consistent with all we do in our daily life in Japan," that is what we ageeed in our group. So, we took plastic bags and started to do cleaning for the whole maktab number 58. I was cleaning the toilets with many disgusting things left. Other than helping our group to clean every dirty things left in the maktab, an Indonesian lady (from Indonesia groups in the maktab) told me, "Aduuuh, yang dari Jepang. Bersih-bersih niiii." I thought she wanted to say to me something negatively about the cleaning. To my surprise, I did not say anything and was just quiet and so patient while continuing the cleaning. It was the only real bad thing during the journey. I hope someday they will understand the importance of cleanliness and understand that religious teachings are nothing without daily practices.
After finishing the cleaning, Mas Rahman and I prepared to go for Jamarat. We collected stones for going to three jamarats.
